We spotted her on a photo by Colin Anderson. Up and coming model Kirsty Wright immediately convinced us with her appearance. That's why we asked her for an interview. We were lucky and she agreed. Here we are to show you the interview and several of Kirsty's amazing photos. Have a look and don't hesitate to contact her, if you like to work with this beautiful model.
Kirsty, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, Where were you born and where do you live now, What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling?
I am 18 years old, born, raised and live in the North East of England. Besides freelance fashion, commercial, catwalk modelling and promo modelling I am a student studying Level 3 extended certificate in fitness services at Newcastle college and I have a part time job as a cashier. Also I compete in pageants, at the beginning of this year I was crowned Miss Crown and Glory Photogenic 2017 and in June I was crowned Miss Newcastle Galaxy 2017/18. I go to nationals to compete for Miss Galaxy England in March 2018! I can’t wait, so excited!!! Also for this I am raising money for the charity The Christie NHS Foundation. I am enthusiastic about what I do, I am a very hard working, determined person always putting 110% effort into everything I do. I’m chatty, polite, well mannered, out going and very easy to get along with. I would also describe myself as unpretentious. I'm open, honest and straight forward I don’t try to impress anyone. I do things for my own benefit or to help others. I get told, I’m one of the most mature 18 year olds anyone has ever met. I get told, I am admirable as I am clear in my ambitions.

What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
A lot of thought into outfits, hair styles and make-up to match the photographers requirements or the brief given.
Picture
I love being creative I have a GCSE in Textiles at a grade A and I have a BETEC in Art and Design 1&2 at two grads of Merit Merit. So, choosing my own outfits and doing my own make-up, I can show my creative side.

A lot of practicing, knowing what poses and angles suit you and your body is key and training. Going to the gym with my personal trainer, making sure, I stay in shape.

I always get along really well with photographers. A lot of laughs and fun times happen on shoots. Everyone gets along so well. Photoshoots are a very enjoyable time. I ALWAYS look forward to them!
What do you love most about modelling?
The fact, that I can be myself, and how it has opened so many doors for me, I’ve met a whole new community of wonderful people all across the UK and it has made me so much more confident in myself as a person as I was bullied throughout most of my education years in school and at the beginning of college. This knocked me back a lot. However, I feel like if that didn't happen to me, I wouldn’t be here now, as I would have already been confident, as I started all this for a confidence boost.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
Being published by companies and getting the opportunities to work with agencies and model managers. And the fact, that I am able to train others, that are wanting to get into the modelling industry. Seeing their progression is amazing!
Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
Two of my recent shoots have been location fashion shoots in Newcastle city centre, the town that I represent! These two shoots have been with photographers Richard Davison and Colin Anderson. The images, I have received back, are some of my favourites by far!

The photoshoot with Richard was more a high end look classy fashion, I wore a tight pink dress from New look, a black jacket from Dorothy Perkins, with black heels from Kurt Geiger.

Picture

The photoshoot with Collin was more of a every day fashion look, I wore a white body suit from Zara, a lined skirt with gold look buttons  from Primark, paler coat from Primark and black ankle boots with a gold look detail from Garage Shoes.

Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
Richard Davison, Stephen Beecroft, Ian Wallis, Phil Reay, Collin Anderson and Christina Hunter. All these photographers are amazing to work with, and I’ve loved the images, I’ve received back off them. They are all so easy to get along with and are incredible, when it comes to shooting. They all support me throughout my modelling and pageantry, but constantly giving me advice on how to get even better and further in my career.
Define your personal style.
Smart but Stylish! I’m always dressed my best. This gives me confidence in myself and makes me feel good about myself!

Who would you say is your 'style muse'?
I don’t look up to anyone for ‘style’. I put all my own outfits together. I wear, what I think works, what makes me feel good as I feel like this way my style can show, who I truly am. If an outfit, that you wear, doesn’t make you feel good, what’s the point in wearing it??
Your favourite designer is… ?
I have two, Rachel Allan and Mac Duggal. You feel like a princess wearing their garments!

Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar?
Vogue. I have followed Vogue for a few years. The fashion shown is just absolutely astonishing like WOW! Vogue, I’m speechless, it's just amazing, so stylish, so up my street.

Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now?
My Rachel Allan couture evening gown paired with my Earring Envy silver necklace and earring set! This will be revealed next year at nationals!!
What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years?
I hope to have completed a degree as well as traveling nationally and internationally with my potentially new model management, big things are happening!!

If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
If I could be anywhere I would go to America but more specifically New York! It is a dream of mine to visit that amazing beautiful lively city!

As we have seen some photos of her on the Instagram page of our featured photographer John Jobling, we immediately asked him to introduce us to this stunning young model.

And here we are to provide you the opportunity to learn more about up and coming model and designer Sophia Bell in our interview with her and take a look at some of her amazing photos.
Sophia, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, Where were you born and where do you live now, What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling?
My name is Sophie Bell and I am 23. I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne but have been moved about a lot from a young age. I now live back in Newcastle as they say you always end up back home. I am a very enthusiastic, hardworking  and determined person who doesn't do things by half. I am also a very funny and outgoing person with a lively mind. Right now I am a  mother to my 3 year old son but intend to go back to college next year. I am a freelance model with a years experience and also have been an extra on the famous tv program inspector George Gently and still am signed up for extra or acting parts.
Picture
I love fashion. It's an obsession of mine and I would love to go far in fashion modelling, I have a level 3 diploma in fashion and textiles and have designed shoes for apparel polo, which was a designer who was just starting out and I was 18 years old and decided to contact him via an add he posted looking for help just for experience. As of now that designer is now doing very well and now has moved to America and has celebrity's buy from his stores.  I have a level 2 in business studies and a level 2 in art and design, I am a very talented and creative artist and designer and still love designing clothes and would love to keep that going as a passion, maybe start my own clothes line
Picture

Nothing I have done has meant so much to me or been my dream as much as being a model or an actress or maybe even a singer I just love to preform, I was told I could never do it off many people when I was young. I was bullied a lot when I was young from primary school to high school especially with moving from place to place and all different schools, but that's what has made me want to prove myself and all them people more and now I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere. I suffer from multiple sclerosis I was diagnosed when i was 19, which was pretty tough when also finding out a week before I was diagnosed I was pregnant with my son, My ms can be hard to live with, but I find the modelling has helped with the anxiety aspect. With ms I do suffer from depression and anxiety, but mind over matter I push myself to over come it and that's why doing modelling and acting means so much to me.

You only have one life and you haven't got to let things like that get in your way. I would love to one day show and inspire people with problems like mine or worse that anything is possible, if you work hard and believe in yourself because nothing comes easy.
What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
Behind the scene of modelling its always good to feel comfortable and I always get on really well with my photographers as I'm a very open minded and friendly person. We do have a lot of fun and laughs, but when the pose is in place, it's all serious although we do get a couple of natural fun shots. The best shots are caught of guard when your laughing as you hate them but that's the fun side. I take modelling very seriously besides the fun and I research poses and give it my very best always and am open to suggested poses from the photographer and we tend to pick the outfits together sometimes as I have a large wardrobe. I am also open to buying new things the photographers suggests that will look great in a photo shoot.
Picture
What do you love most about modelling?
What I love most about modelling is getting dressed up because what girl doesn't like to look at best, also just shooting and the confidence boost I get from the amazing images received at the end,  Modelling has always been one of my dreams I always looked up to majour models and still do.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of my career has to be being on inspector George Gently and just becoming a model altogether not to mention getting to become an eventual published model which I hope one day leads to a big career in the industry. I am also overwhelmed with the response I got when I first started out and how far I've gotten now.

Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
I was blonde until December last year and I changed to brunette, I took a little time out  befor shooting with my brown hair but my recent shoots have been amazing, possibly the best I've done so far, I defiantly think the brown hair was a good change. My first shoot with brown hair was  with a photographer called Chris Harrison which was so exciting because it was the first one of me with different hair , we had lots of fun and got some amazing  sets of images down ouseburn which was kind of a nature setting, The outfit choices where quite street grunge fashion.

My second shoot was down the beach with a photographer Called John Jobling and the weather was amazing the outfits were an incredible choice it was quite sophisticated fashion. One of the gowns I wore in the shoot was sent to me free from a company I'm an brand ambassador for in America called playbody and we got some of the best I've seen in myself so far as my posing has come on a lot and my confidence is higher so the images are just getting higher quality the more I shoot, which I'm really proud of as it's took a long time for me to become confident in myself.

Picture
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
The photographers I most enjoy working with is Chris Harrison, John Jobling and Colin Anderson they are all just incredible photographers who have given me the most amazing images, they have all been the help of giving me my confidence for sure. They all have incredible personalities as well, I always feel so at ease shooting with all of them and never a dull moment which makes it all that more comfortable and easy to work with them, they are not just amazing photographers but amazing people.

Define your personal style.
My personal style is a hard one to judge as I never stick to one style I have many, I love the street grunge look but I also have a girly style and sophisticated style, some days I'm two different styles in one. The way I see style is everyone is different and I love to change it up and each day is a different style for me, all fashion styles are beautiful and unique so why just stick to one.
Picture
Who would you say is your 'style muse'?
I have many style muses but I have got to say I am in love with Pia Mia's style, she is a women who is a lot like me, who doesn't just stick to one style. The reason I love Pia's style so much is because the items of clothing she wears together you would never think of it meshing well but it dose and she owns it. I would describe pias style as quite hip hop, grunge and sophisticated all at once and generally all my style muses are like pia.
Your favourite designer is… ?
It's really hard to chose when it comes to picking a favourite designer as they are all so very different and unique but have the most amazing designs. Back in college I use to do a lot of research in fashion and I did like the work of Alexander McQueen but right now I am in love with the work of elisabetta franchi, I am also very into wedding dress designers some of the dresses are breath taking. When it comes to designers I tend to like difference, imaginative, but also like the normal everyday street style designers it's just so hard to choose between the street style designers.
Picture
Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar?
If I had to pick between vogue or harper's bazaar it would defiantly be vogue, I have followed vogue from a young age and the outfits and the fashion is incredible and the models have been what I've looked up to my whole life. vogue is just amazing i wish I could of had the chance to be in vogue.

Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now?
I am completely crushing on Elisabetta franchi milano's dress in vogue it's so beautiful, the colour the style is just breath taking and something I'd defiantly wear.
What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years?
In the next five years more than anything I would love to see myself as a successful model, actress which has always been my dream and now my goal.I hope to have a payed for home, traveled a few places especially America and also hope to give my son the most amazing life I can.

If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
If I could be anywhere else in the world over Newcastle I would love to be in America and I have said that from being very young.

Thank you so much Sophia for giving us a glance of your work as a model, actress and designer.

Meet Jenn Marie Wahba

23/8/2017

24 year old Orlando Native Jenn Marie Wahba has IT: Beauty, Brains, and personality to boot! The recent  University of Central Florida Graduate  has a look, that is undeniable and  effortless talent! Read on to learn more about this egyptian goddess!
Picture
Jenn, how long have you been modeling?
About 5 years.

Any basic principles or belief you stand by ?
I always believe everything happens for a reason, not matter what it is.
Funfact : I love cats!
Picture

What's your favorite part?

The creative freedom! The fact you are able to create a picture and alter it with your body, your look, the pose, etc. I love being able to meet and collaborate with so many talented people.

How was home life for you growing up?
It was intense to say the least. I was bullied a lot for the way I looked. My family is from Egypt and having foreign parents made growing up in America a little hard.
Picture
Were you always supported in your endeavors?
No. My family used to think modeling was not a real “career” and not worth it. They were more focused on me receiving a degree then anything. It is not essentially a bad thing to be educated, but it caused me to delay my dream.
What has been your favorite experience ?
My first runway show. It was for Park Avenue’s Fashion week in Winter Park. The runway was HUGE and long. I was beyond nervous because it was my first real show and I was casted last minute. But once I got up there I felt a rush I will never forget. I knew this is what I wanted to do!

What’s a typical day for you?
I have an typical office job that consumes the majority of my days. Monday -Friday 11-8. After work I work out as much as I can. Then, I watch my favorite shows (Law and ORder SVU, WWE, and of course America's Next Top Model) and play with my 2 cats.
What is the biggest challenge you faced in your career?
Finding the confidence to put myself out there. Growing up I was beyond self cautious and not comfortable in my own skin. I fought mental illness growing up, and I am still dealing with it today. But I was able to find the strength to get the help I needed. Once I started to believe in myself and my look, I took it and ran.  I have not looked back since.

What has been your biggest achievement?
Being able to finish my Bachelor's degree while working full time and modeling. There was many sleepless nights, a lot of driving, prepping etc. But by the time I finished my degree I had enough pictures to make a full and strong modeling portfolio.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself in New York, LA and international fashion shows. I see myself modeling for a big agency.

What sets you apart?
I am determined and dedicated to learning and becoming a better model. This has been my dream, my passion since I was a kid. I want to become successful and do all I need to do to get to where I want to be.

If you could shoot with your favorite celebrity who would it be. And what kind of concept?
Bella and Gigi Hadid in a vintage pin-up photo shoot.

Who is your favorite designer?
Betsey Johnson

Any other additional hobbies?
I LOVE arts and crafts, sewing and graphic design.

What's your favorite quote?
“C'est La Vie” which is french for “That is Life”

If you could have one superpower what would it be?
Flying! So I don't have to drive everywhere

Once act of kindness everyone should follow?
Be kind to others no matter how evil they may be. You do not know the struggle they are currently experiencing.
Picture
Picture
Picture
What would you tell anyone doubting themselves?
If you do not believe in yourself, no one else will. It starts with you!

Who inspires you?
My mother. She has been through hell and back but is stronger than ever. Her drive inspires me to never give up.

She was spotted by us on a photo together with model Alina Snowwhite, who we featured some time ago. We then took a look at her other photos and were impressed by her appearance and style, so that we asked model Geraldine Hacker for an interview. By this opportunity we learned, that she besides being a model also is a designer. We are happy to introduce you this amazing model and designer today by showing some photos of her and her designs.
Geraldine, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, Where were you born and where do you live now, What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling?
I am 32 years old, I was born in a small city near lake of Constance where I still live now. I work at Client Service in an office where I do the french speaking part. I did an education as a fashion designer some years ago, which I do a lot in my free time. I love to create and sew new accessoires and sometimes clothes. While modelling I descovered a passion for photography - so I bought a camera and started photographing myself, it's so exciting!

What do you love most about modelling?
I can be creative and I can bring in my own ideas and creations. And the positive fact that it gives you self-confidence and it shows that you don't need to have a "perfect" 1.80 m tall body to have a nice result.
Picture
photos: Johnny Weber
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
It was one of my recent shoots where I could wear one of my self designed and sewn dress
Picture
Picture
photos: ceox black
Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
It was a shooting with a dress with a 3 meter trail (Schleppe). And a Basketball shooting with two photographers which was a lot of fun. Also a girl girl shooting where we wore some of my sleeping masks was quite fun. The latest shooting was a photo challange at a photo walk where we had to create photos with two objects and we didn't know each other before. This was also a nice experience.

What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
You have to be self confident and you have to have the opinion that you don't care what other people think. You have to accept and like you as you are! And you have to be very patient when the photographer needs to find the right camera settings. Sometimes it's not within the first 10 minutes that you get the perfect shot and sometimes you have to be very movable I sometimes feel aching after a shooting. But it's always a great time and you laugh a lot.

Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
I dream of becoming in front of Karl Lagerfeld's cam.
Define your personal style.
I love to break style rules. I love to combine joggers with heels but it always have to be feminie and often a little Touch of sporty. I would call it cool feminine.
Who would you say is your 'style muse'?
Jennifer Lopez with a touch of Chiara Ferragni.

Your favourite designer is… ?
Karl Lagerfeld because I like his quotes.

Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar?
Harper's Bazaar

Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now?
I love Calvin Klein pieces right now. They are so cool.

What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years?
I hope I am healthy, this is my biggest wish. And I hope that I'm still continue doing what makes my happy and I continue being creative.

If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
London or Berlin is a cool place for a fashion victim like me  When I'm older, I see myself in a small village in South France, Provence. I love the landscape there...
