We discovered some photos of her on Instagram and then had a look at her portfolio. We really like her attitude, charisma and beautiful smile. So we asked her for an interview.
Today we like to introduce you up and coming model Natalie Pfeiffer, based in Bavaria, Germany. Natalie, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, Where were you born and where do you live now, What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling? I am 20 years old and have been living in Bavaria, south of Munich since I was a child. Early July, I will finish my education as industrial clerk. Besides my education, I also work as barkeeper. Approximately half a year ago, I had my very first photo shoot and since then, modelling has become a hobby. |
What do you love most about modelling?
I love getting to know new sides of me and I always try out new poses or facial expressions.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
Up until today, modelling has only been a hobby and I have been working on time for picture basis only. This is why I was especially happy, that I have found an agency that wants to represent me, and that Streetfashion MagZZine took notice of me and considered me for an interview.

Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
My last photo shoot was an outdoor shoot and I was wearing a cropped top. I found that to be challenging as I had to pull in my stomach and thus had to hold my breath. There were some pictures which looked unflattering, but that is completely normal and since there were also many beautiful pictures, both, the photographer and I were happy with the overall results.
What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
By now, I can definitely say, that it is much more difficult than it looks like. I have been following the TV show ‘Germany’s Next Topmodel’ since day one and I have always been wondering why many of the models made such a fuss. Now, I realize that it is challenging work and that there is so much you have to consider.
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
As I do not have that much experience yet and have only worked with a handful of photographers, it is difficult to say. I do, however, honestly enjoy working with photographer ‘mainten’. Define your personal style. I would describe my style as relatively normal or basic. I do not usually wear any extravagant clothes or follow every fashion trend. Also, I think I could be a bit more inventive when it comes to poses and facial expressions, but I am sure that it will change the more experience I gain. Who would you say is your 'style muse'? I would not say that I have a ‘style muse’ in particular. I keep my eyes open and decide what I like, what suits me and what I can learn from. However, I have been following model Valeria Lipovetsky for a while and I really like her and have bounced off some of her ideas and tricks. |
Your favourite designer is… ?
At the moment, I do not have a favourite designer. I do, however, have a list of designers and pieces that I would love to see hanging in my own closet. Basically it’s a bucket list with designer pieces!
Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar?
Vogue – for the movie ‘The devil wears Prade’ alone!

Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now?
For my 18thbirthday, my parents gave me a beautiful Prada bag. That is and, I believe, will always be one of my favourite pieces.
What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years?
I would like to travel and possibly study a marketing-related topic. Regarding modelling, I am hoping to be booked for a job or two in the future.
If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
There are so many beautiful places in this world that I would like to see and visit but my top destinations are South Africa, Vancouver, Paris and, of course, New York City.
