It is the time, we like to introduce you a stunning young lady, who is trained by our partner agency Modelemi LLC in Texas, USA. Take a look at her photos and read our interview with up and coming model Cassidy Clark. Cassidy, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, where were you born and where do you live now, what is your profession and do you have other besides modeling? My name is Cassidy but I go by Cass most of the time. I am 17 years old. I was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada and now I live in Texas. I am a full time student about to graduate from high school, and I am an aspiring singer and I model. I love to sing and I am looking forward to a career in music, and I have been since I was 8 years old. |
What do you love most about modelling?
I love being able to express myself and see my personality and that of others come to life through photographs.
When I get in front of the camera, I feel like a more confident version of myself.

How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?
First, I freak out. Once I have that out of the way I go get it and have fun! But seriously, my preparation usually includes lots of sleep the night before so I don’t look like a zombie, making sure I have all my outfits and accessories packed and ready to go, and always eat enough before I get to the shoot.
What genre of modeling are you interested in?
I am interested in high fashion and runway modeling, and I would really be into being a part of music videos and TV commercials! What really goes on behind the scenes as a model? Oh, geez, for me it is a lot of preparation for makeup and touch ups, and knowing my clumsy nature, a lot of frantic looking for lost clothes, make-up, jewellery, and things. I actually prefer doing my own makeup, but it is enjoyable when someone else does that for me too. I love it when someone else does my hair though. There are usually many wardrobe changes and it can be a very long day! What has been the highlight of your career so far? The highlight of my career so far is having the honor of being selected as the Cover Girl for Wanderlust Magazine in September of 2017. Being chosen made me feel confident and made me feel like I am on the right track with my dream career path. |
Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
I recently had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot in Toronto, Ontario with Lance Nichols of Leaf in the Wind Photography. It was very light hearted and enjoyable and I had a lot of fun. It had been a while since my last shoot, but it didn't take me long to get back in the groove of things and get in the zone!
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
I like working with everyone because I just love working with people. My favorites are photographers that are chill, relaxed and like to have fun. Photographers like Tim Bear, Steve Mongare and Lance Nichols.
Define your personal style. I tend to go for more innocent and soft looks rather than edgy and bold. I gravitate towards retro and vintage fashion. I am most comfortable in casual comfy clothes and I’m a firm believer that you can be just as beautiful in sweat pants as you can in a dress and heels. Who would you say is your 'style muse'? My absolute number one inspiration for my style is Audrey Hepburn! Everything about her is classy, elegant and different. She was a powerful and forward thinking woman and I strive to be like her. My second inspiration for overall style is Kim Hyolyn! She exudes confidence and non-conforming beauty. She is very vocal about her beliefs on how powerful girls can be and how we can be both intelligent and beautiful at the same time! Your favourite designer is…. I don't really have a favourite designer, but my favourite brand is Chanel. I like Chanel because a lot of old Hollywood stars used to represent them. Like Marilyn and Audrey. Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar? Definitely Vogue! Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now? A Chanel quilted backpack. I need it in my life! What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years? It is a bit of a reach but I want to be a famous singer, make my own music and I hope to get a Grammy one day, as that is my life goal! I am also hoping to fulfil a desire to see my all time favourite girl group Perfume in concert. |
If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
Japan, without a doubt. I think it is such an interesting and beautiful country and being able to enrich myself in that first hand would be amazing.
What tip or advice can you offer to other models looking to get into the industry?
Well I am just starting out, but what I can say is it is a great opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and explore your talents and abilities. Always remember to be yourself and don’t be afraid to stand your ground and don’t feel pressured to do something you wouldn’t normally do!
