What do you love most about modelling?
Modelling gives me a confidence boost and I feel like a different version of me!
Modelling has always been a dream of mine since being a teen. However, I didn’t feel like I could do it due to my lack of confidence. I had to physically and mentally push through my confidence barrier last summer to get where I am today, with some help of some model friends.

The highlight of my modelling career so far has got to be the people I've met; Published models, Pageants and of course the photographers. I’ve gained so much experience for such a new and upcoming model.
Tell us about some of your recent shoots. I’ve had some various shoots recently, both location and studio. I’ve loved working with everyone up until now. But my favourites this year have got to be my winter location shoot with Phil Reay and my studio shoot with Jessica Salmon. I’ve done a number of photoshoots with Phil Reay, from my first studio shoot (which was actually a modelling workshop) to winter location photoshoots. The most recent photoshoot has got to be my favourite. The Studio photoshoot with Jessica was all about movement. This in itself was a new experience for me, however I was up for trying something new and I thoroughly enjoyed the photoshoot. I absolutely love the shots we got from this photoshoot. What really goes on behind the scenes as a model? Allot of preparation goes into just one photoshoot; Outfits, Hair and Make-up. I find it really exciting putting together everything before the photoshoot. |
Up until now my photoshoots have been on a TFP basis as I'm still building up my portfolio. So I usually do my own hair and make-up, usually a natural look. Unless the photographer suggests a different look and I get a close friend in as my MUA.
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
Phil Reay, Adam Lang, Jessica Salmon, Simon Lowe, Ian Wallis, John Stoves and Christina Hunter. I’ve loved working with them all, they’re all so supportive and professional in what they do.

Define your personal style. Smart but casual… I’m mostly known for my eyes and my smile. Who would you say is your 'style muse'? I don’t really follow anyone with regards to Style. I like being myself, I can go from looking girly in a dress and heels to jeans and converse. All black everything is usually my outfit! Your favourite designer is… ? My favourite designers have got to be Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood. Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar? Vogue always! Always following Vogue online. |
My overall goal would be to with an agency within the next 5 years, be able to travel and model would be an absolute dream come true!
If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
Australia! It’s also been a dream to move and live there even just for a couple of years.
