Introducing 19 year old up and coming model Dasha Vasilyeva from Moscow, Russia.

Dasha just graduated from model school of fashion designer Slava Zaitsev in Moscow.

Since her childhood she dreamed to become a model. She started with getting captured by a friend and then booked a photo session in a modelling agency to be able to provide a portfolio.

She’s regularly going to the gym to be physically fit, loves to be captured on photos and is really keen to catch some runway job.

... for model Julia Janine – just like vetenarian and singer. Thanks to some well-known tv-shows, that dream survived a little bit longer than the other ones. In addition she had some influence of her mother and aunt, which were modelling for fun in their youth. But even this dream got lost while growing up – until Julia Janine incidentally found herself on an Online-Model-Portal one year ago.

When she registered herself as a model, she does not expected a reaction. But at the same evening, she has been proven wrong. Her post-box office was completly full of shooting-requests – serious and untrustworthy ones. The result of the serious ones are beautiful pictures in the fields portrait, streetstyle and fashion. Julia Janine although took part in some contests and won two smaller ones.

After a while and a lot of positive feedback by the photographers, she was brave enough to apply at some model agencys ... successfully ... for a short time now she is signed by a small agency. Her first request for a runway job came few days ago.

All in all Julia Janine is really happy, that she recovered this dream. Of course she will still concentrate on her studies. But if she will get the chance to live on modelling one day she wont say no.

Featuring upcoming model Eleftheria Markou from Greece.

Eleftheria became a model just few months ago, when a professional photographer gave her the chance to have a photoshoot with him.

Started with this session, she had several other photoshoots with different photographers and began to gain some experience. Eleftheria always wanted to work in the modeling industry and and then everything happened so fast, as she did not expect.

Now she has still moderate experience, but indeed is a professional model. She loves runway and photoshoots also. Eleftheria has colaborated with a few greek designers now, participating in the catwalks of Helena Kyritsi, Tranoulis Haute Couture, Kathy Heyndels and Maison Anna Dorothea.

She also had a photoshoot for the brand Kokos shoe design and participated in the 17th Athens Xclusive Designer Week.

Her plans for the future are to continue collaborating with as many Greek designers she can and have photoshoots for campaigns. She’s keen to be featured in magazine's editorials, runways and commercials.

Eleftheria would love to travel and work as a models in other countries too.

Today we like to introduce you a very interesting model, although modeling is not first in terms of her occupations. Ana Đorđević is a professional Make-up artist, working at hairdressing and beauty studio JELENA-lux in Zajecar, Serbia.

Her first contact with a professional photographer was at her graduation.

But cause of her extraordinary style and especially hairstyles she is aksed quite often by photographers for taking photos of her. That happens on the street as well as for example on parties. So meanwhile she did several sessions with professional or semi-professional photographers, mostly street photography. But she’s also interested doing some studio session or try to approach a runway job, if an opportunity arises.

... is the goal of model Cortney Pettit

When Cortney Pettit was in the college, she was asked to do some bridal shows and model some wedding dresses.. She really didn't think much of it at that time, until she won a free photography session with one of the booths at the bridal show. Cortney absolutely loved the shoot and the photographer said she did a great job.

A few years later, Cortney’s boyfriend at the time, decided to surprise her with a photo shoot with Monroe Bush of AniMotion Photography. After the shoot Monroe said, that she should really think about doing this.

A year after, Cortney had a bit of an epiphany and realized life was too short not to chase her dreams. Modeling was something she loved doing, but kept putting it off because she needed to provide financially and live the normal life everyone feels they need to live..graduate college, find your career, get married..etc.

Then Cortney decided to reach out to Monroe and set up a shoot to see, if this was something, she could really do. Monroe was so impressed with the shoot, that he asked her to shoot again. At that point Cortney knew, she needed to branch out. So she made a model mayhem account and put some of her photos out and immediately was approached by several photographers to do shoots. She realized, that she wanted to eventually get to an agency, so she needed to get a portfolio together and gain some experience. Cortney started booking shoots about every weekend and kept networking. She truly treat modeling as a job and work everyday to get better. She’s doing research on poses, ideas for shoots, photographers, etc.

Cortney’s goal is still to get with an agency and continue to shoot and network in order to become better. So if you’re an agency and like to manage her, don’t hesitate to contact Cortney.
