How old are you? Where were you born, and where do you live now? What is your profession, and do you have any other besides modelling?
I am 23 years old and i live in Hamburg, Germany where I was also born. I am a fashion manager, model and stylist. What do you love most about modelling? I love working with so many different people and also always getting to know new people. Every model job is different and special. Modelling is something I love doing and I don't get bored doing it. I am always surprised when, for example, I see the results of a shoot and how good the pictures are at the end. What really goes on behind the scenes as a model? Model jobs are way more exhausting and stressful than some people think. It is not only about travelling, going on set looking good, taking some nice pictures and that is it. |
Modelling is more a lifestyle and a full time job. It is important to have discipline. For example, I have to take care of what I eat and how often I go to the gym. Even when I am on vacation, I cannot stop or take a break from eating healthy and going to the gym.
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with? I really enjoyed working with Helmut Jeels. He is patient and has a really positive radiation. The pictures are amazing and he had some great ideas. Another photographer I enjoy working with is Ester Stancel. She is working in the film industry and even thought she is really young, she is doing her job professionally. She was also the first photographer I worked with and she taught me how to act in front of the camera. Thanks to her, I got confidence and I know how to move. |
Define your personal style.
My personal style is based on my mood. I like to play with clothing and colors and I wear everything from comfortable, elegant up to sexy and extravagant. Most of the time, I like to direct attention to only one of my body part. For example, a short skirt with a turtle neck sweater. What's been the highlight of your career so far? My highlight so far was flying to Jerusalem and having a fashion shoot there. It's a beautiful place with so many wonderful scenes to shoot. |
It was also my first time travelling out of Europe for work. I am happy that I made this experience and I cannot wait for new opportunities.
Tell us about some of your recent shoots. I had a shoot in Israel which was a new experience for me traveling to another country for work. It was for a fashion brand with colorful, summer clothing and I enjoyed it a lot. Another recent shoot was for a fashion designer from Hamburg. He was doing a special edition of his collection with some crazy pieces. |
Your favourite designer is...?
My favourite designer is Alexander McQueen. I fell in love with his shoe designs. They were all so different and special. I was always excited what new ideas he would have and what would be his inspiration for the next collections. |
Is there any particular piece you are crushing on right now?
Yes, I have been crushing on the Jimmy Choo "Maine" embellished booties for a while already. I love the shimmer on them and they make every outfit look special. |
Vogue or Harper's Bazaar?
I like Vogue more. It’s just the special feeling that I have holding the magazine in my hands and reading it. I like the pictures inside but also how the magazine is made from outside. What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years? I hope to be getting more model jobs and being able to travel around the world. I would also like to participate in a music video one day. Besides that, I would like to start my own company and get more involved as a fashion stylist and I am also planning on doing my masters degree to learn more about retail in the fashion industry. If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go? I would love to live in New York for a while or maybe Los Angeles. I like the New Yorker fashion industry and I would love to learn more about that. |
