Madeleine, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. How old are you? Where were you born and where do you live now? What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling?
I'm 24 years old. I was born in Sweden but moved to Chile at the age of nine for two years. Since then I have been living in Stockholm, Sweden but I enjoy traveling a lot. I have been working as a carpenter (in construction) for five years in a big company called Ikano bostad. I started as a model one year ago. What do you love most about modelling? What I love most about modeling is all the amazing people I get to meet with so much ambition and creativity that inspire me more and more everyday. What’s been the highlight of your career so far? I see every session as a highlight so i can develop faster and grow more and more as a model and person. |
Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
I had one shoot, with another model and a makeup artist, where we were waiting because the photographer was late. Under all that time spend waiting we were pushing one another to grow. All had powerful backgrounds. There were a lot of lessons to be learned from just talking to strangers that are as ambitious and motivated as you to get where you wanna come and don't let anything stop them or you. What really goes on behind the scenes as a model? The last shoot I had was at an entertainment center. It was a long shoot from 2-8 pm. At the same time they had a tivoli standing outside. It was raining and it was almost empty so we took the oppportunity to take some shots on the attraction. The results were amazing. It was freezing and raining so when this small opportunity came, I never had an excuse to not take advantage of it because the result we got out of it was worth it. What I want to say is that it is not always sunshine and rainbows in modelling. You have to adapt and if an opportunity shows, stop making excuses to reach your goals and take advantage of every situation. |
