What genre of modeling are you interested in?
I like to work in fitness, fashion, runway, catalog/print, creative art.
What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
There's a lot of preparation, even down to posing. Hair, makeup, travel, lots of communication and sometimes networking to reach out to others needed artists or stylists must be done long before the shoot happens. The model must be in sync with the shoot's theme and environment. Learning the scene that the model needs to convey is just as important as the model's presence alone.

What do you love most about modelling? I love that I can paint a story for viewers and promote an idea or theme with one picture. What’s been the highlight of your career so far? The highlight of my career has been watching the expansion of my skills over the last year, since moving to Austin. I'm proud of the work collaborations I've landed. Tell us about some of your recent shoots. I recently shot with Combat Defense Mindset, located in Garland, TX, for their opening of their self-defense gym and apparel line. We did workout videos with trainers, as well as MMA style training for self-defense tactics. I also worked with Matrix professionals in a hair show, involving a runway show and live styling and hair coloring as educational models for the crowd of stylist viewers. Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with? Well Tim Bear is amazing, of course . I also love working with DJ Cushenberry, of Houston, and Matt Strong, of College Station. |
Define your personal style.
My personal style is athletic, with a good mix of feminine high-fashion, but I'm laid-back and tomboy at heart. I also love art and creative styles of shooting.

Who would you say is your 'style muse'? I'd say my style muse is Candace Swampoel. Your favourite designer is… ? My favorite designer is Vera Wang. Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar? I'm a Harper's Bazaar girl for sure. Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now? I don't crave a certain piece but the new Ravish Sands bikinis are my obsession. What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years? In the next five years I hope to be working in the ER as a trauma nurse and modeling for the best designers around. I hope to be running my own holistic health training business as well. If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go? I would go to the Czech Republic and Germany after that to experience and learn more about my heritage. |
How dod you learn about your agency "Modelemi" and what do you like about it?
I learned about Modelemi through social media and through talking with other models about good agencies.
I like how safe I felt when introduced to Modelemi. The interaction and breakdown of the company with me made me feel confident that I had found a resource through which I could excel, and work with people with the same goals and mindset that I have.
What tip or advice can you offer to other models looking to get into the industry?
Do your research. There are many companies in the industry, but all of different operation and quality. Find work collaborations that you will want to have your name on, and don't sell yourself short ,ever.
How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?
I turn up the intensity at the gym for a few weeks, and I prepare myself according to the type of shoot and what's asked of me for the company's expectation.
