| We continue our series of model features and today like to introduce you model Caroline Burgess, who we learned to know cause of her work for ACQUO, a Swedish company, we introduced you with the article 'well booted for every occasion' in FASHION ZZ some months ago. Caroline is based in Norrköping, near the Swedish east coast and south west of Sweden's capital Stockholm. Take a look at her photos and learn more about her in our interview. |  |
Caroline, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with.
My namn is Caroline Burgess. I was born in October 1986. Born and raised in Stockholm. Now im living with my husband-to-be in Norrköping. Im a family oriented women that likes to spend time with my son, fiance & two dogs Sheba & Junior. During my spare time I workout a lot in the gym and also train “advanced level” of Polefitness. I work as a psychiatric nurse. My heart is really passionate for young adults with mental illness, especially self-destructive behavior, ADHD and active drug abuse.

What do you love most about modelling?
I love to be photographed in a variety of stylish outfits and cool environments. I've always loved the camera and I've heard that the camera also loves me.

  | What’s been the highlight of your career so far? the highlight was to have the honor of walking the catwalk at Stockholm fashion week when I was younger. I have been photographed by various web stores. The greatest thing right now is ACQUO of Sweden. It helped me to open some doors. Jessica (CEO of ACQUO of Sweden) asked me personally, if I wanted to be photographed for her company. We have now become good friends and I have been honored to help manage ACQUO of Sweden's instagram account, which I love to do! Tell us about some of your recent shoots with ACQUO. My last job for ACQUO of Sweden was with three other models and we worked with a photographer (Virge Buravkov) who is originally from Estonia, but living in Sweden. We photographed street fashion on the main street in Norrköping. We shot even fantasy / dream images in the woods for 6 hours in icecold weather. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. |
What really goes on behind the scenes as a model?
Everyone helps everyone and we always have a lot of fun when we're shooting. It is important to laugh so that you become more relaxed. I'll send you a behind the scenes picture of how it might look in a photo shoot for ACQUO of Sweden.

Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
A photographer who got great ideas and a photographer that let me be creative.
| Define your personal style. I have a rather unique style, I don't really care what others think of me. Not in a mean way, but I feel comfortable with myself. I love black and basic colours. My style is a mix of street fashion & luxurious fashion. cocky. I love the color black. as I said I have a very own style, either you like it... Who would you say is your 'style muse'? I've have a few Grace Jones, Naomi Campbell Kate Moss & Amber Rose. Your favourite designer is… ? My favourite designer is Donatella Versace. I just love Versace. It's classy and timeless. Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar? Vogue Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now? Not a specific piece but I got a crush on the lastest Balmain Collection. |   |
What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years?
Have my own clothing brand. And elevating in the realm of psychiatric care.
