Gifting that special someone on Valentine’s Day can be difficult, with so many choices. Like my mom would do for my sister and I every year, I have an idea that would make a great gift if you have a daughter. You could get mommy and me matching leggings. Leggings are popular with all ages for their comfort and style. Having a matching pair of leggings is sure to put a smile on your daughters face. A great place to find leggings are at nimbustights.com. You can also find great leggings at most retail stores. Some people like to gift their pets valentine treats also. Here is a recipe my friend Chantal Rogers makes for her dog. The treats are shaped into hearts and bones, and wrapped up pretty. She also gives them to friends who also have dogs. She was kind enough to share one of her doggie treat recipes with us. This recipe is peanut butter banana dog cookies. Take one very ripe banana mashed, three heaping tablespoons of natural peanut butter (only peanuts should be in the ingredients), one egg, and one cup of brown rice flower. Then mix and add more flour if needed (or a tsp of water if too dry). Roll out using rice flour and bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 300. Roll out to about 1/8-1/4 inch using your favorite cookie cutters. If they are thicker they may take longer to bake. The baking time of 40 minutes depends on if you want them to be crispy once cooled. Chantal was also kind enough to show us photos of the cookies once they are made, and how she wraps them up as gifts. If you are looking for ideas to surprise that special love in your life here are some suggestions. Bring them breakfast in bed, you could do a cup of hot chocolate with a little whip cream on top, some heart shaped cookies, one of her favourite flowers, and a bowl of cut up fresh fruit. You could also make a beautiful homemade dinner at home, with dipped strawberries in chocolate for desert. A unique gift would be from edible arrangements. They take fruits of your choice and cut them into shapes and dip them in chocolate. Jewelry is always a popular gift, and handmade jewellery is extra special. Feltnlove makes beautiful handmade jewellery like an amethyst and pink agate bracelet with amethyst heart, and a burly wood with sea sediment jasper and agate bead bracelet. Vivienfrank has beautiful choices also; these are just a few samples. A personalized simple 14k gold charm necklace, the necklace is made of leather. They also have initial necklace two charms, you could have your initial and her initial stamped on the charms. There pave diamond stud earrings are sure to make her smile. They are 14k solid gold, 0.10 carats, and 34 tiny diamonds. If you are looking for a simple gift a journal is always a nice gift, and you can find them in most book stores like chapters. I hope everyone has a beautiful valentine’s day, with whoever you share the day with. Isn’t that what counts the most, spending the day with the one or one’s you love. Written by Patricia Roy Couple photo by Tim Bear (Modelemi Agency) showing models Celsie Chadwick and Brady Good These days many new and long standing photographers are dealing with more and more limited work loads. To aid in countering this many continue to hone their skills, update equipment, pay everyday business expenses and more limited income jobs. All the more reason for many at times to conduct "TFP" time for prints or "TFF" time for files. This type of work allows for the photographer, HMUA and models alike to maintain an updated portfolio while keeping the cost down. I say limited because to achieve the results the team is looking to get it still takes a bit of financing, equipment use and materials by all, but not at a cost usually found in a paying job. Beauty and the Hog is just one of those types of shoots. I thought about this project after talking with a friend of mind whom mentioned finishing his custom Harley Davidson V-Rod recently. Instantly Kelsey Burnette, a very new model came to mind for the project. The beautiful, 5'11" blonde gal had that "all American" girl look and what more shouts "American" then a beautiful girl on a Harley? Over a couple weeks, we put together a brief fashion shoot to decide on wardrobe. Once the wardrobe was worked out a location was needed. Well this time of the year in SW Florida, it is not only hot, but humid and can rain at a moments notice. With this in mind I asked the owner if we could use his garage. He was happy to oblige. So now a location was in place. Next thing was time. We decided to shoot at noon time. This time frame was convenient for all. Luck for us the day was overcast with rain threatening clouds above. Funny that helped a bit in limiting the temperature to 90, yet the humidity made up for the lack of sun. Knowing the way things happen in the summer here we decided that the model would do curls which when we started to shoot. Wardrobe started with jacket, jeans, etc. that were selected first because with the humidity the curls would no doubt fall out in a short time and the heat would be more bearable if we removed clothing layers as we went on. After positioning the Harley, setting up the background and lights, we began to shoot. We shot 3 different looks over a course of 2 hours. For the most part the day went off without a hitch. Final results yeilded numerous looks for all to have. All in all it was a fun and enjoyable afternoon something you always want to achieve when working with others when doing TFP work My main reason for doing these shoots is to keep myself constantly thinking of new ideas and challenges. In this day and age, TFP seems to help more than it hinders. At least to me. Others have issues with it and I totally get that. For me and the others I work with it's a way for us to continue to do what we love when cost is limited. So if you're a model, HMUA or a photographer looking to collaborate on a project or two and in Florida, look me up at RGM Photography.

Fashion is constantly coming back and it isn’t anything unusual that the era of pin-up girls is being revived once more. The pin-up images could be cut out of newspapers or magazines as well as on a postcard or lithograph. Often such pictures appear on wall or desk calendars. Starting from the mid 20th century posters of pin-ups were mass-produced and became popular. Minimally, cute and at the same time lusciously dressed, these girls radiate sexiness as well as loveliness.
Thanks to Isidora and Dusko for leaving us these pictures to publish them in Streetfashion MagZZine.
In the afternoon in the gym it should be easier. Markus Gärtner of the gym welcomed them at the door. No one else except them and Marion, Tina's girlfriend, was in the gym. Then Tina performed with each unit to find in the gym. To have worked out her body like this in the age of 40 is quite remarkable and the pictures document this very impressively. Thanks to Tina and Carsten, that we are able to show you these amazing photos here in our Lifestyle division of Streetfashion MagZZine.
Ramet's way into blogging, first started one and a half year ago, with an account on Instagram. After the great response on Instagram as a fashion stylist, he decided to start a Fashion- and lifestyleblog in 2016. He tells us that he's very satisfied with the blog, and his followers. Ramet was inspired by the opportunity to express himself, and to share his thoughts and ideas. The fact that his blog also have been helping others, is a great inspiration to him. He describes his blogging style as adventure-, classic- and streetstyle. When creating the blog, he didn't get any professional help. His brother, «Betto Idrizi», whom also are his official photographer, helped him with setting up the blog.
We are proud to say, that when the biggest events in fashion sends out their invitations, Ramet now gets one. He says it's great to meet all the people who work for fashion. When questioned if he would encourage other people to start blogging, he answers; «of course». Because, as he says; «everyone is different, and have different ways to express themselves. Every blog would be a product of that persons expressions.» Some of Ramets favourite bloggers:
Really often Ramet receive emails with the question: «How can I become a blogger?»
He thinks a blog is nothing that you just start from scratch without any purpose or deeper meaning. So his tip would be: «Always stay yourself, spontaneous and real. Just start to post and you will see if it’s fun or not. Of course it takes a lot of time and effort to plan and organize a blog, but that’s part of the job and should be fun as well.» Article by Glennie Magnus
For the shoot Duško used a Nikon D600 with Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 lens. Thanks to Duško for these beautiful photos.
Mia, can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog? My name is Mia and I live in Switzerland. I love writing and for more than ten years, I have been modeling which had me develop my love for fashion and styling. In my blog, I focus on fashion, children, and lifestyle. I share stories about things I love and that impact my life. Usually, stories revolve around fashion, street style, modeling, travel, fitness, beauty, and children. These stories from my everyday life as a model, mom, and blogger make up that special mix of my articles. Describe how did you first get into blogging? What inspired you to start your blog? For a few years now, I have been following different bloggers and, as I have mentioned earlier, I have a passion for both fashion and writing. This had me thinking about starting my own blog and last year, I finally decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. In my model jobs, I do not have a say in anything, so it was important to me to create something myself outside of my modeling career. I wanted the focus to be on my ideas and my taste in fashion and my blog allows me to fully indulge in my own creativity.
Can you tell me about few sources from where you get products for review on your site? I mainly get the clothes from my closet as I have enough to cover all kinds of different topics and stories. Occasionally, I also work with brands that I really like and that suit my style. When corporating with brands it is important to me to not just write random posts but carefully choose who I work with and, most importantly, if I can fully identify myself with the brand. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and explain why they are your favourites? There are many different bloggers who I follow and who inspire me, but in the end, I do my own thing. Most of the other bloggers are much younger that I am and do not have a child. My life is different now and that is what makes my stories unique. Here are some names of bloggers I follow: Kristina Bazan, Michèle Krüsi, Nina Schwichtenberg, Caro Daur and many others.
What would you say that is the biggest challenge about fashion blogging? There are thousands of bloggers hence it is extremely difficult to gain and increase awareness for your own blog. I enjoy blogging and that is what is most important for me. I do what I like and what I like to talk about on my blog. My main goal is not to make a profit but the fun I have working on my blog. This is of utmost importance for me and I find you can tell the blogger's motivation by the looks of their blog. How would you describe your personal style and is there a person who is a fashion inspiration to you? As mentioned earlier, I do not have a particular person whose style I admire and want to imitate. Individuality is very important to me. In general, I would describe my style as sporty with a touch of rock and roll and Indians' feeling. Hence, I especially like leather jackets, biker boots, fringes and hair accessories. Depending on my mood, I also like to dress more elegantly or edgy. Fashion's diversity is really interesting and I make use of that diversity every day. What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being a fashion blogger? (Invitations to fashion events, interaction with people, gifts, etc.) The most beautiful thing about blogging is receiving sincere compliments from readers and subscribers. In addition, I am a very interactive person who loves to get in contact with other people. Hence, all these new contacts are a great enrichment for me. Every person has a new story and different ideas. Getting to know those people and learning about their ideas, absolutely fascinates me. With the Pulse Nightclub Orlando Benefit we announced the first event of Streetfashion MagZZine's fashion editor Briana deShields in July 2016. Meanwhile Briana finished succesfully the 4th fashion event in St.Pete's Platformz Loungs, and her company Truluv Media and the Florida Central Creative Society have grown to become one of the largest artist-run organizations as well as one of the most highly anticipated events within the Florida and Tampa Bay communities. With a cast of over 150 creatives each event they provide an opportunity for creatives and models to showcase their artistic talents and for ambitious leaders to take action, all while functioning as a symbol for unity and networking through support. Truluv Media and the Central Florida Creatives strive to give back to the community through charity and creativity. Now Briana is entering the 5th fashion event. Truluv Media and the Florida Central Creative Society are hosting a fashion show January 22nd at Haven Orlando starting 6 pm! They are featuring over 12 designers and celebrating a few of their artistic creatives birthdays. Please click on the photo below to get more info.
