Again we like to show you some photos out of a recent session of photographer Harry Wilcken. This time he’s going to introduce us to model Marianne. As they already knew each other from a previous session in 2017, she contacted Harry and came up with an idea. She also planned the shoot and arranged all the different outfits. Together they set their team back to work (model, MUA and photographer). In this new session they worked indoors in a loft rented for the day, using the elements, they found at the location without adding anything extra. Following his line of work, Harry used the same camera (Nikon D-810) and the 85 mm 1.8 mm prime lens; for the lighting he added a beauty dish and two extra units for ambient and fill light. He didn’t use a TTL, only manual mode and a flash-meter. |
Concerning the makeup they had the great expertise of makeup artist Georgiana in their favor. She knew exactly, what needed to be done and completed the team perfectly. Overall, she shares a good vibe with the team.
It was a new experience for Harry to work with the model’s idea. „It feels really good to work with creative people, but good communication is key to full-fill the team’s expectations.“ says Harry

Also Marianne seems tob e very satisfied with the chosen team and set: „Working with Harry and Georgiana was awesome. That is also why we are called the awesome team;) We did around eight different outfits on the shooting day. And I can tell you, that is a lot!
The original plan was to shoot different outfits which are all very classy. So we needed a location to fit that. I got a great tip from a friend who told me there was this really cool loft. The loft is a bit industrial and has a lot of art in there. This gives it a bit of a different vibe. And it was big, so a lot of different locations to choose from.
Every outfit needed of course a different vibe, so it needed a different make-up and different location. Harry and Georgiana really did a good job in that (once again: the awesome team). In the end we made so many great pictures as you can see. It was a great day.“
Thanks to Marianne, Harry and Georgiana for leaving us these fantastic photos to publish them in Streetfashion MagZZine.
