Mustang car shooting

We today like to introduce you to another set of photographer Francisco Alvarado León, a car shooting with an old Mustang.

The idea for this shoot arised, when he made a couple of shots with model Veronica Olivero just for fun. Veronica is a friend of Francisco and needed a couple of pictures to update her portfolio.

They had no specific theme for the shooting on that day, until Francsico brought up the idea of using a classic car for the shots. After this was decided, they need to find an urban location to créate the photos. While driving a few rounds with the car, they found Avenue Gonzales Suarez in Quito, Ecuador. It is a beautiful avenue, lined with buildings, residential and business.

Cause it was a Sunday, there was very little traffic, which gave enough latitude to drive with the car while shooting. Francisco started with a few shots of the model outside the car; others, which she appeared alongside and with the vehicle alongside. Finally he decided to stand in front of the car with Veronica inside. Francisco asked her to pose like driving until finally parked the car and asked her to open the door as if she would get out of it. That was the best shot of that afternoon in Quito.

Aircraft photo set

For the photo set, we are going to present you here, photographer Francisco Alvarado León thought of a vintage retro theme, that reflects the past, especially the 50s and 60s. This intention, to show retro style in clothing, fit perfectly with an old plane referring to the golden age of aviation, when flying was a novelty.

Francisco found the plane in a farm not far away from the city and then proceeded to take photographs. The model, Nena Palacios Manzano, entered the plane and performed for many photos leveraging the place. While Francisco was taking photos of her, it occurred to him, that the model hold the camera and look at the window. Sohe also entered the plane and took pictures of Nena, in which she looks ooks like an airline passenger during a trip.

The equipment, Francisco used for this shoot, is a Nikon d700, Nikkor lens 24-70 and, as one might marvel, only available light.

'urban warrior' photo set

Today we like to introduce you to an incredible photo session, that basically needs no words to explain, cause it already absolutely convinces by the results in form of the pictures, you can see here.

Nevertheless we like to give you some additional information on the Session "Urban Warrior", which according to the photographer Vicente Gonzalez started from an idea, that was around his head, mixing glamour and beauty with something aggressive, that somehow has an underground touch. Everything was previously planned with the help of Vicentes invaluable collaborater and Make Up Artist

Veronica Amoros a few days before choosing styling, make up and the model, who could give them that aggressive touch, they needed.

After looking at various options, they chose Nabila Amorós. There were a few reasons to chooses especially her. Even being a model without a lot of experience, Nabila is a great performer, able to express, what they needed without barely having to lead the session.

Vicente and his team already had everything prepared, but needed something, that could give a special ambiance. He thought about a smoke machine, knowing, that in a studio there will be a problem with the ventilation and you only have a few shoots, before the fog is raised.

It was something we needed for a few shots, Vicente had in mind. The chemistry between all components of the team is very important. So he relied on the priceless help of Juan García. On one hand they rented the studio of him, on the other Juan is a great help as illumination assistant, something on what he is a great specialist. Besides this Juan got surprised by Vicente, who besides everything else asked him to work as a model too, representing "El carnicero loco". According to Vicente Juan is a great guy and working with him is always a pleasure.

The team was formed. It was time to start the session. Very loud Rock music, a really good feeling and everything was going great. Nabila Amoros is brilliant, so Vicente. He only needed to make a few gestures for her to perform.

The styling of the models was, what worried Vicente most. But with a few details they sorted that out and the Make Up of Veronica was according to Vicente ‚absolute fantastic’. Juan García on the lights and Vicente behind the camera, enjoying and shooting. That was the moment, in which the improvisation started and it appeared, that the session is better than anything, they had planned before. For Vicente is was definitely one of the most enjoyable and satisfying sessions, he had.
