she has always loved the beauty in everything

Ever since photographer Shailine Doney can remember, she has always loved the beauty in everything around her. She would paint, sketch, sculpt, or take images of everything, she found beautiful. Shailine, based in Rathdrum, Idaho, United States, has taken art in school since the beginning and finally decided in high school, to try Photography. She started in film, then moved to digital. Shailine would take photos for friends ... senior pictures, birthdays, family photos, newborns and so on.

After high school and having her own baby girl, Shailine  fell off the grid in photography. She met her current boyfriend Jeremy Hammons in 2011, when he decided to go to school for photography. He hated it at first, but he stuck with it. They would talk photography and look at images all the time. When Shailine moved back in 2014 and they got together, he would take her on his photo shoots. Since that first photo shoot Shailine was hooked. She had a huge rush flow through her and her passion for photography flamed up inside of her stronger than before. Shailine has come a long way from when she has started, but she still has so much to learn and is excited to see where she will be in 10 years.

Shailine’s favorite place to shoot is on location, mostly at models homes. Images, that she gets from shoots in the models homes, are more natural and pleasing. The models are kind enough to bring her into their homes and also to homes of their families. Shailine is inspired by her models lives, homes, family, and surroundings.

In her Camera Bag she just has her Canon 6D and Canon 50mm 1.4! Perfecting her 50mm skills! She’s seeing a Sigma 85mm 1.4 art lens in her bag  as   soon  as  they  release  it!  Or  maybe

even a Sigma 135mm art! Shailine is hoping one day to have the complete set of Sigma Art Lens Line!

The only advise, Shailine can give us on the way, is: „DO NOT EVER STOP LEARNING!!! I believe that  once  you  stop  learning  that  is  when   you  give  up!   Once  you  stop  learning  and   close  your

mind to learning everyone will pass you and they will get better and better as you fall behind. You will be doing the same thing over and over again. That is boring to me. Things change daily. It is hard to keep up sometimes, even for me. But it is so worth it to learn whats new. New lighting gear and techniques. New higher MP DSLR with 4k video or 8k!!! New and improved lenses! Things are always changing and improving. You cannot keep up or get better when you stop learning. I still have so much to learn and I am loving every minute of it. Do not ever stop learning.“
