... is, what photographer Stefan Legacy likes
Stefan Legacy is a portrait and conceptual photographer based in Edmonton, Alberta. He got into photography about 3 years ago after seeing some images on Flickr, that inspired him to look at things differently through the lens of a camera. So Stefan bought a DSLR and taught himself in photography through Youtube videos.
The need to create beauty and be inspiring drives his pursuit in the art. Fashion magazines like Vogue and Elle are a few of his inspirations for editorial work. Stefan’s concept work is usually inspired from details, that happen in his every day life.
Currently he is shooting with a Nikon D7000 and he prefers prime lenses over zooms. The 35mm 1.8g and the 50mm 1.8d being his main go to lenses.
He also has a deep love for film photography, which also inspires him to think differently as a photographer and compose his shots more carefully. Stefan owns 4 film cameras with the Pentax K1000 being his go to film camera.
„I would say I just want to create art with my photography, create concepts that have a "wow" factor to them and continue to learn new techniques to help with my craft.“ (Stefan Legacy)
For Stefan photography is a highly opinionated art. So if his photos draw different opinions, then he’s on the right path as a photographer.
The image with the burning rose is a portrait of Stefan himself.
