It was afternoon ... 4 pm ... photographer Carsten Schmidthaus of IMAGO-CS wanted to pick up his car from the workshop. While he was waiting, a car transporter with an old Mercedes drove up. Ferat Avci, the owner of the workshop, explained, that this is a Daimler DB219 build in 1958. Directly the interest to photograph these beautiful classic car awakened in Carsten. The result was a plan to take pictures of the car without any public on a Sunday. This shoot should be done in the workshop. In the planning phase then the idea came up, that it were simply too unspectacular to take photos only of the car. And while they were talking about it, Lena appered. Just as Carsten she wanted to pick up her repaired car. |
As soon as Ferat and Carsten have reported their idea with the car, ideas about her participation in this shoot with an appropriate outfit were gushing out of Lena.
At the appointed time they met in the workshop, really in the mood for this shoot and Lena was focused on meeting the various fun tasks around the car. Carsten was armed with a Canon 6D - Sigma 24-105mm F4 ART DG OS HSM - Canon RT 600 with Softbox Lastolite "Joe McNally".
A great team was very satisfied at the end of the day to have created brilliant photos.
