 | photographer Joakim Fransson you might already know out of our feature about him in July. Now he is sharing with us some photos out of his last work for ACQUO of Sweden, a manufacturing company for elegant hunter boots in a perfect new style. The more interesting this shoot is, since he work together with model Karoline Davidsson, who we also featured in July. We asked Joakim about the session: |
"Well me and Karoline planned a photoshoot for ACQUO of Sweden in my small studio, because we needed new photos. At the start of ACQUO´S instagram we posted to many photos and i mean to many. Almost every picture, we took during my first photoshoot, we had posted. So then we had to post old photos on Acquo´s instagram. At that time i decided, that it's not a good idea to post around 4-10 photos in just one day. 2-3 photos is good enough. Karoline and me planned a small photoshoot in my studio, which is kinda small, but it works!
| I wish i could have all the beautiuful expensive gear, that big studio photographers have, but i don't have the space sadly. So it's kinda sad, but at the same time i'm actually glad, i have a small studio in my own living room. So we shot some pictures for Karolines official Facebook page, but we also thought, that we were needing some new photos for ACQUO as well. So we asked Jessica, the head chief over ACQUO, if Karoline could borrow some boots and the ACQUO bag. Jessica told it to be okay. So we shot pictures for almost an hour, not any longer. I was switching lenses at that time back and forth from Canon 50mm 12.8 STM & Canon EF 70-200 L USM f/4. 2 Great studio lenses, but that also works great for portrait and much more! There's not really a huge background story about this photoshoot. It's simply as i told: I asked Karoline, if she wanted to take some new pictures to her Facebook page, but also asked, if we should take some with ACQUO as well and she thought it was a great idea! |  |
The boots look really good on her and everything fits so perfect with those Jeans, a red leather jacket and the ACQUO boots! I actually love leather myself, but i don't like to wear it. But i like woman in leather/latex clothing! It's very sexy and when such a gorgeous Model as Karoline wears it, it's perfect.
 | She is born to be a model! And i think she gonna be big one day and with big i mean a model agency will work with her. I sure hope so! Because in front of the camera she's a boss! You can realize, that she loves modeling just by seeing her pictures. She's not only my model. We are friends. In ACQUO we are like a big family. I believe i'm the youngest in the family, haha! I turn 24 in December, now the 14th December. So only a few years left until i can call myself old, when i turn 30, haha. For the shoot i used a Canon EOS 6D with the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 STM and Canon EF 70-200 L USM f/4 lenses as well as a Visico VL-200 Plus (contains 2 small softboxes 50x70 cm). |
It's a great small studio kit, that works perfect in small spaces! But i also have another flash pointed at the white background on the left in my studio, because i don't want to get that black shadow. I want to keep my background all white."
