It was captured by photographer Stephan Pietzka and we were lucky to get his permission to showcase the picture. Stephan explained “girls and bikes - who can say ‘no’ to it?! For years this combination is a real eyecatcher and fascinates not only men. With girls and bikes two themes meet, which in combination have a nearly magical effect.” Stephan is convinced, that at some point every photographer, who works in model photography with focus on street fashion, ends up on this theme. And so it was with him.
Stephan was lucky in his search for a suitable bike and coincidence helped him a little. A good friend of him, for years a Harley fan, had just purchased at that time a used Harley Davidson. When Stephan was visiting his friend and first time saw the bike, it just came back from the workshop. An old model with new parts, many added extras and a new varnishing. Stephan was immediately hooked and asked his friend, if he could imagine to provide the bike for a photo session, which he gladly did.
Now actually only two other things were missing: a beautiful model and a matching location. The location was quickly found and Stephan chose an old gravel plant, which should give him the perfect setting for this shooting. And no other model was more suitable for this topic, as pretty Lena Saibel, who immediately could identify herself with this idea. Searched … found … and off they went.
Less than a week later, on a sunny Sunday morning, they met in the gravel plant for the session - and they captured a great track of photos.
For the session Stephan was armed with a Canon 5D Mark III, a EF 2.8 70-200 IS USM L II lens.
