The shoot came about following a day when John had completed a photoshoot with another model and bumped into a friend, who was just starting to shoot Victoria, who John didn’t know. When he saw the results of that shoot John knew, he wanted to work with her.
So they decided on a varied clothing location shoot around an area of Newcastle Upon Tyne known as the Ouseburn. 'Victoria is an amateur model with only a limited number of shoots under her belt. However she has a great look about her with great eyes and that wonderful hair.' so John
The shot in question was on a wooden bridge over a small tidal waterway. The Victorian buildings behind, John knew, would make a pleasing backdrop. He used a NikonD800 Tamron 24-70mm Zoom 1/320sec f4.5 ISO100 and blurred the background a little and ran of some shots. If he recall - post editing, John added a gradient colour filter and added a little lens flare in PS to achieve that warm look.
