It's about one week ago, that we have seen a new photo of Wolfgang Dengler in our Flickr-group. Wolfgang discovered model Viktorija on the German model community Model-Kartei. She had faved a couple of his shots, what surprised him, since feedback mostly comes from photographers. Viktorija has a very convincing sedcard on Model-Kartei - and Wolfgang thought "just to send her an enquiry". And so they arranged to meet after very few emails to a session in the Munich area. The chemistry between them fit well right from the beginning. They had similar ideas on the type of street fashion shots. As location they chose a parking deck near the main railway station of Munich, in which the evening sun appears. Victorija was excellent prepared. She arranged her outfit as well as the makeup and is experienced also in the performance in front of the camera. So easy going for any photographer.
The session took place just before sunset. Weather and lighting were perfect. Blue sky, clouds and the soft light of the setting sun. A lighter wind, which ensures movement in the hair and dynamics in the picture. Wolfgang had to find just the right perspective and press the the trigger in the right moment. As equipment he only used his D800 and the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art lens. No flash, no reflector, only available light.
When they looked at the recording on the camera display, Wolfgang knew, that the pictures would be really good. He only needed to do a little fine-tuning in the post processing (grain, slight vignette and conventional beauty retouching).
