My name is Briana DeShields. I began my modeling career in 2015 in Dallas Texas USA, which means i was the crisp age of 24 before i even knew what “style” truly meant. When i was a teenager, i was 5’11 and 190 lbs. I was styled through hand-me-downs that actually fit and items from the clearance rack at any department store. This is no sob story. I just didn't care. My parents are pretty laid back, and so was I. |
My first introduction to fashion came with my first job at Hollister Company. So my style went from completely non existent to casually-narcissistic-carbon-copy-barbie. After graduating I traded in the seagle for a server apron and a bar key to pay my way through college. Fast forward three years and later I have finally become “one” with my personal sense of style.
On any day you can normally find me in jeans, cowgirl boots and a Solid tank-top. If i'm headed out to lunch or hanging with my girls, I will occasionally pull out my favorite romper or skirt & halter combo. Time is generally a constraint for me so i rarely have time to shop in malls. Shopping at the mall is always more expensive. Online Shopping is usually less time consuming and more affordable plus there is just something completely satiating when coming home to a package from your favorite online boutique (lord knows 3-7 business days can be unmerciful).
I don't consider myself a fashion “guru”, fashionista or top stylist by any means! I’d be the first to state, that i'm a bartender, that plays Model every now and then. But i am here to recommend, consult, share and give my personal perspective on the world of fashion as i tackle my career in the industry.

What were your inspirations for the designs? The inspiration for our design choice in a single word is BAD Bold Audacious Daring we want women to own their looks. You and I can have on the same outfit but rock it so differently no one would notice. What is it like working with family ? Trying of patience...we bump heads a lot but unlike other business relationships you know at the end of the ruckus you’re going to move on and get back to business. What are your plans for the near future? Marketing, Marketing and more Marketing...building a brand means building trust and familiarity and it can be very challenging on the World Wide Web when no one knows who you are. |
