Whether she is developing fresh cutting techniques, promoting education or trying new ways of coloring hair, Star Shear has shaped contemporary beauty. You wouldn’t just divvy out your cherished treasures over to any-ol-fool on the street, right? Same goes with your precious locks and skin. Don’t hand your hair over to just anybody. Don’t risk walking out of a shady salon with the ever-agonizing sense that 1988 called and wants the “Working-Girl-Mullet” back. |
Star shear of Hair Force Salon is proud to be worthy of your follicular and epidermal trus!! She is my go to stylist for most publications and editorial shoots. She is a makeup artist, hairstylist and premiere barber. All of those qualities make her a one stop shop and a forced to be reckoned with
My favorite part about doing live interviews is hearing and physically seeing the excitement and passion in one's delivery. While applying a color treatment, shaving up one of her favorite clients “Tilly” and sneaking in a buzz up for myself in between Star Shear radiates in her environment
Star Shear was raised in New York. There was wear she honed in on her skills as a make-up artist. Doubling as an accountant star decided to move to Florida and rebrand herself to get away from corporate stipulations Upon her arrival to Tampa Florida she then decided to become a barber.
Being the only female barber in her shop she was faced with the challenge of having to prove herself to be twice as good if not better than any male barber.” You can be a good male barber and get clients, but you have to be a perfect female barber". With the help of her mentors Fransisco Valdez and Giovanni De La Rosa she was able to make it happen. Soon she was winning hairshows , competitions and bookings for editorials.
