If you have read our latest photographer feature about Rolf Hermann, you know the story of 'RH-Pictures'. Today, we're showing you photos of Rolf's latest shoot with Larissa Meyer, a newcomer model from Ostfriesland in Germany. We were immediately smitten by the inked 20-year old's smile and her natural charisma. This is only the beginning of their cooperation and her journey as a model, so we're excited for more but for now, we hope you enjoy this Editor's Choice!

I have some nice locations there that I like to use for photo shoots. Larissa also had a great selection of different outfits and shoes with her, so that we could vary greatly. Larissa immediately impressed me with her wonderfully natural and uncomplicated manner and we had a good connection from the start. She has a wonderful positive charisma, a sweet smile and a great figure. I was very enthusiastic about the first shoot with Larissa and so was she ... or at least that's what she assured me! We will definitely do a lot more great shootings since Larissa expressed an interest in developing her skills in front of the camera and is open to different themes and ideas.
Regarding my equipment, I shot with my Sony SLT-A58 using the Minolta 75-300mm lens. I only used the available daylight even though the weather was very cloudy."

Why ZZ Loves It
Location
If you think you recognised the location from another shoot by Rolf, don't let his love for brick walls and old industrial buildings fool you! The shoot with Jasmin Koch seen in his feature (read here) was in Leer, and this Editor's Choice with Larissa was shot in Papenburg. Different location, different model - the same effect! In this shoot the brick wall matches Larissa's outfit. The warmer brown tones of the wall harmonise perfectly with the cooler blue and grey tones of her jacket. If you pay a close look to the different photos, you can notice that Rolf makes use of this effect by taking pictures from different angles making the red-brownish colour of the brick wall appear in different tones. In some pictures it appears more orange, while in others it is a warm red-brown. Since brown is typically just a darker shade of orange, the harmonising effect still works! Why not try matching a blue outfit against a brown brick wall on your next shoot?
