The initial contact with Lisa was in July through a model website. Harry and her made the necessary arrangements and set the date, hoping that the weather would work with them. The photoshoot was made in a small recreational lake “Haarijnseplaas” in the suburbs of Utrecht.
The location and model where a success, with at the end a very nice set of photos according to Harry, even though the weather was tricky, a combination of rain and sun, with even a rain shower, that lasted around 10 minutes during which Lisa had to shelter herself in the fitting room – a “tent”.
In one location they managed to use different sceneries: grass, water, a pier and 2 m high poles, where Lisa climbed and posed with high heels.
"The session went effortlessly. Lisa is by no means a shy person" told Harry "she laughs easily and shows interest and enthusiasm all the time. Things to remark about Lisa: her wardrobe (with a special personal style), her long balanced figure and beautiful smile. In short, it was a pleasure working with her, it is a big plus for the project." Lisa told us “I liked working with Harry because he was open and clear in his communication. What I liked a lot of the session was the space for suggestions from my side, but also the tips or directions from Harry and of course the different spots gave the pictures great variety.”
Thanks to both of you for giving us permission to publish the photos in Streetfashion MagZZine.
According to Colin the Idea for the shoot was an urban fashion theme, with various artworks used in what is now an abandoned Ministry of Defence base in the North East of England. The site has given way to an array of talented artists, where the walls seem to change every few weeks, with new works. Colin had worked with Harriotte Lane before in the session Newcastle City Centre and told us, that she is both, very talent, a joy to work with and that she has a very bright future ahead of her.
Since we assume, that you already have seen our cover photo, we got the opportunity to show you some more photos out of this session and some making off photos as well. Thanks to Harriotte and Colin for granting us permission to show all of these amazing photos.
This editorial project was created by photographer Xavi Carol with the costumes of the fashion designer José Rivero. The intention was to show the versatility of black short skirt dresses and for men's fashion bring a business and elegance approach in an environment linked to the rural world.
The Shoot took place in Cavas Naverán, a famous wine and cava company in the Alt Penedès region. The idea was to unite that concept of climate and typical Mediterranean landscape typical for countries with wine production
Suheylen has a Latin look with tanned skin, which reinforces that concept of sun and Mediterranean climate. Two more series were made, soon to be published, with the models Sònia Pérez and Sergio Fernández.
The series have been designed to locate 3 different "backgrounds", that link with the wine concept: Within a field of vineyards, providing a totally rural landscape, on a metal stair near industrial tanks, where the cava is processed and in a public area of the cava, where there is a relic and you get a very casual and everyday look.
The participants of this series were Xavi Carol - El Molí de la Llum as creative director and photographer, model Suheylen Herrera, makeup artist and hair stylist Sònia Pérez. The style of the photos was developed by Suheylen Herrera and Xavi Carol, the fasion designer was José Rivero “Ropa de autor”.
Streetfashion MagZZine likes to thank the entire team and Cavas Naverán.
While searching the web for magazines about models, photographers and fashion, Tímea came across the article about Harry's "public places project" here in Streetfashion MagZZine, that draw her attention. She got interested in working with Harry, got in touch and they planned a shoot in Utrecht. "Unbelievable as it sounds, but it was just that easy!" said Tímea.
As for all the other models participating in this project, Harry asked Tímea to send him some pictures of the outfits, she wanted to wear for the shoot, so he could make a decision about the locations. Harry chose for less crowded places to make her feel comfortable due to her experience level.
