Today we like to show you some amazing photos taken by Lisa Hemp, a 33 year old photographer from the beautiful Jena / Thuringia in Germany. Lisa told us, that she for the first time in 2015 had a camera in her hand. In the first 2 years she focussed on lost places. She was captivated by the charm of the ordinary. In the meantime, however, she never got out of the automatic mode of her camera. Right in the beginning of last year, she was at a photography get together in her city. There was the opportunity to participate in a portrait shoot and gain initial experience in this area. At first Lisa was a bit overwhelmed with the technical possibilities, but found it very exciting and was sure, she wanted to develop in this photography area. A few months later, another get together followed, and from then on her love of people photography flared up. Followed by a few shootings with more experienced models Lisa has gained a lot of experience, but however, she still had problems guiding her models and got the tip of a photographer friend to look for someone, who has no experience in front of the camera. |
Then she wrote Lisa Föhre on Facebook in early August 2017. "I really liked her profile picture and we started talking. Since we live 65km apart, we decided to meet in the middle. For both an unknown city. The 25th of August then was our shooting day." reported Lisa Hemp.
The shooting took place in Eisenberg in the most beautiful weather. The both had not made a real plan before and wanted to see in a first step, if the chemistry between model and photographer is right.
It is always very important to photographer Lisa Hemp, that the model feels well in front of my camera. The chemistry between photographer and model worked out well and they decided to do a streetstyle shoot. The nice thing about this day was the simplicity and the fact, that they had no expectations on the results.
"In this shoot, I learned how important it can be to give at least small instructions. The courage was then rewarded and both my dwindling insecurities in this area, as well as the idea,s that were developed, felt consistently positive." told Lisa Hemp.
Lisa Hemp is working with a Sony Alpha 58 and used a Tamron AF 70 - 300 mm 1: 4-5.6 lens in this shoot. She basically worked without flash and relied on the existing lighting conditions. Meanwhile Lisa is also felt comfortable to work in manual mode.
So we here can see the fantastic results out of this shoot. Thanks to both, photographer Lisa Hemp and model Lisa Föhre, for giving us permission to showcase these amazing photos here in Streetfashion MagZZine.
