Today we like to provide you photos out of a session with photographer Lisa Hemp and model Julia Welling.
 
The shoot was originally planned for Easter. Unfortunately both of them were prevented to do so. Last week Lisa spontaneously asked Julia to use the nice weather and go for the session on Saturday. Luckily Julia also is very spontaneous and agreed immediately. So they arranged an appointment for the afternoon, because Lisa had another session in Erfurt before. 
 
No major changes happened with Lisa, when it comes to planning in advance. Practice has shown her, that often spontaneous sessions give more room for creativity.
 
When Lisa and Julia met, they first had a little chat since they have known each other just from writing until then. However, the chemistry was given immediate, what wasn’t a surprise for Lisa after the entertaining conversation. Lisa said „Julia is like me, very uncomplicated and openminded “.
 
A location was not fixed, so Lisa leaked the ball to Julia cause of her local knowledge. Luckily she had some ideas. They drove to the first spot, which unfortunately wasn’t accessable any longer. But that didn’t intimidate model and photographer and they drove to the second location. This time they had more luck and found a lost place, which invited for their session.

After a short inspection of the location and a short outfit check, they were ready to go. Big advantage of the day was the beautiful weather and so they were able to also capture some great backlight shots.
 
Concerning lost or abbandonned places Lisa recommends the following ”If you haven’t been to a lost place before, you should be cautious, since often a lot is broken at these places. Everyone should be aware of this, even with a normal session. In such a place you need to watch twice, that nothing happens to anyone. On the other hand i for sure don’t have to point out the aspect, that you shouldn’t destroy anything in such places on purpose”.

​Julia and Lisa used a large gym, which had a lot beautiful grafittis to offer. Besides her passion for black and white Lisa likes pictures with color contrasts very much. That’s why Julia fit twice as good to this backdrop with her colorful presence.
 
Lisa especially appreciated, that Julia belongs to that group of models, who almost need no instructions, because she already brings a lot of experience. As a result they quickly had different sets in the box. 

They are both very pleased with the results and have both decided to work together more often. We can only support that, because we are equally enthusiastic about the results and like to thank both, Lisa and Julia, to leave us the opportunity to show you these fantastic photos here in Streetfashion MagZZine.
 
Last but not least some words about the equipment, what Lisa has used for the session. She took the photos with a Sony Alpha 68 and a Sony SAL 50mm F1.8 lens.
