Looking through the web we discovered a photo of her on the German model community Model-Kartei.de and then had a look at her Instagram page. We were immediately impressed by her appearance in front of the camera and asked her for an interview. Lucky as we are, she agreed and here we go to introduce you German based up and coming model Alizee Clio. |
Alizee, please tell us a little bit about yourself to begin with. (How old are you, Where were you born and where do you live now, What is your profession and do you have other besides modeling?
Hello! :) My name is Alizee Clio, I am 20 years young and based in Erfurt in the heart of Eastern Germany’s federal state Thuringia. 2017 it took me there after completing my training as a social insurance specialist and I have to say I love this city! At the moment I am working in the telephone customer service of a health insurance company and can pursue one of my favorite activities there - talking, a character trait that really distinguishes me. In addition to modeling, I am generally very creative in my spare time. I like designing costumes for shootings or making masks. I played the guitar for 8 years and am currently learning to play the piano myself - a real challenge!
What do you love most about modelling?
As already mentioned in the first question, my focus is on creativity. I love to put myself in the limelight again and again. In doing so, I like to change my type of woman with accessories such as wigs or glasses and sometimes with a few horns on my head!

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of my fashion life is not far in the past. Some time ago, I discovered and used the area of lingerie photography for myself. Andi Hartwig from "Hartwig Art" has captured great pictures during my first home shooting, which increased my name recognition significantly. Now I hope for further cooperation with him and other photographers, in order to continue expanding my spectrum!

Tell us about some of your recent shoots.
The last shots were more about pictures with less clothes. For the cold season, I prefer to go indoors for home shoots or other indoor locations. In the not too distant future, a shoot will take place in my heritage-protected indoor location, provided on air bnb. For nude photography I not fully inspired yet, but the interest is aroused.
What really goes on behind the scenes as a model? Oha what happens behind the scenes ... I would say a lot of funny things! If the chemistry is right, a relaxed atmosphere comes up and that is important for the effect of the images. Accordingly, I like to sit down with the photographers as a human and enjoy again and again very interesting personalities! |
Which photographers in the industry do you most enjoy working with?
I can not answer that exactly. The most relaxed atmosphere at that time was always with my ex-partner, who also photographed as a hobbyist. Otherwise i only have few bad experiences with photographers in terms of mood and harmony.

What is your favorite photography style?
I'm a big fan of the so-called "composing". This is about perfection in the image processing: to make objects appear where none were before or let the model suddenly appear somewhere on the beach, even though it was just in a studio. Examples of such captures can be found in my gallery! Photographers like Stefan Gesell or Daimen Pape serve as models for my style as a composer as well as Jörg from Foto in Vivo as role models!
Define your personal style. I do not define myself in a consistent style. I want to identify myself with versatility and meet many different styles, be it sexy, sensual, fashion or crazy! In everydays life, I identify myself with little striking clothes. A pair of pants and a blouse are a must for me to feel good! Your favorite designer is ...? I don't have a favorite designer. Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar? Definitely Vogue! |
Is there any particular designer piece you are crushing on right now?
I have to admit that I love the imaginative dresses from designer "Fairytas". Every single piece!

What do you hope to do in the next 5 years?
Definitely modeling and traveling, and hopefully in a good combination! There are already projects for 2018 in Stuttgart, Hamburg and Munich. Shoot and enjoy the skyline in the evening, just perfect!
If you could be anywhere else but here, where would you go?
The continent of Australia has been attracting me for a long time. If I have saved some money, I would like to travel there for a few months.
