Coming to the session itself. According to Kashley the idea of this shoot was essentially to capture a beautiful, edgy & grungy shot with a modern industrial feel almost. It was going to be muted, contrasted and faded, but Kashley really wanted a pop of color in there, which is where Brooke's gorgeous pink hair came in.
The planning of the session was easy, said Kashley, just bring black clothes! Brooke wore Kashley's black leather jacket and black boots. Putting together the style and outfit is what Kashley bases her photos of. Also Brooke's hair style and makeup were done by Kashley. Having style and fashion done the next was the location and finally "to pull the photo together is the attitude you bring to it" told Kashley.
The camera, used for this shoot, is a Sony A6000. No lighting equipment was needed. They had great natural lighting, and the clouds that are visible in some of the shots just gave it the extra edge & grunge they needed.
