Today we like to provide you more photos and information about the photo session of Streetfashion MagZZine's current cover photo December 2018.

The shoot for this amazing picture of model Abby Maughan  captured by photographer Brian Nicholson took place in Newcastle upon Tyne in the north east of England.

The idea for the shoot was born, when Abby and Brian talked about a fur coat, Abby had recently purchased. With it coming up to this time of the year, they knew, that would be the main focus of their next photoshoot with the title “winter is coming”

They talked via social media and kept it simple. Brian came up with a location, they discussed availability, times & Brian kept an eye on the weather forecast.

The session took place at Times Square Car Park. "Great for natural light with a slight cityscape view on the open top level" says Brian. For the shoot Brian used a Canon 6D with a Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art lens.

For all the session they only worked with natural daylight. "I don't use flashes, MUAs, stylists or extra light. I try to keep everything as natural as possible" told us Brian.

Since there was no MUA or stylist, all the styling was done by Abby herself. Also the makeup and hair she did by herself with a little advice from Brian.
